Don’t store flammables

Flammables such as certain chemicals and oily rags should not be stored in the office. They should be placed into the appropriate containers and disposed of immediately after use. Businesses that frequently work with flammable items should follow strict guidelines regarding their use and storage.

Awareness of equipment

There are regulations that dictate the number of fire extinguishers that a business must have – due to its size. Each fire extinguisher will be paired with a sign indicating where it is.
